Brian Heder is one of six supporting characters Rockstar Games gave an official page on May 6, 2025. He houses Jason Duval for free in the Leonida Keys, and his boat yard has never been given a name.

Brian Heder is one of the six supporting characters with a page of their own on the official Grand Theft Auto VI site. Rockstar Games put it online on May 6, 2025, the day the second trailer landed: a drug runner out of the golden age of smuggling in the Leonida Keys, who lets Jason Duval live rent-free at one of his properties. The region listed against his name is Mount Kalaga. The game arrives November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The biography runs to two sentences:
Brian’s a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. Still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian’s been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.
Rockstar sums him up in a single line: “Looks like a Leonida beach bum, moves like a great white shark.” The two quotes the studio puts in his mouth pull in opposite directions. One is a postcard: “Nothing better than a Mudslide at sunset.” The other reaches back to the flying years: “I hauled so much grass in that plane, I could make the state of Leonida levitate.”
The arrangement with Jason is written down by the studio, not inferred from a trailer. Brian is “letting Jason live rent-free at one of his properties, so long as he helps with local shakedowns, and stops by for Lori’s sangria once in a while.” Cal Hampton, the conspiracy theorist who listens in on Coast Guard comms from his living room, is introduced on his own page as another associate of Brian’s.
Lori has no page. Third wife, and a working partner in the boat yard, she is named only inside her husband’s entry.
The boat yard has no official name
Rockstar writes “his boat yard” and stops there. No sign, no company, no address. IGN, in its character round-up of May 7, 2025, gave the place a business name anyway and described it as a front for the trade. That name appears nowhere on rockstargames.com/VI, and it has travelled from list to list ever since as though the studio had written it.
No actor has been named for Brian Heder, or for any of the nine people named across those eight character pages. IGN reported on May 7, 2025 that it had asked Rockstar for the voice cast and had not been given one. What circulates instead comes from players matching voices by ear.
He shows up again in the 26 minutes and 48 seconds of An Extended Look, released August 27, 2026. Around the nine minute fifty mark, Jason and Lucia meet him and Lori at a rooftop bar called Effluvia to talk over a new job. The boat yard itself appears in none of the location round-ups the press has published since.
