GTA 6 Ambrosia explained: the sugar refinery and the bikers
Ambrosia is the industrial and farming middle of Leonida, one of the six destinations Rockstar Games described on May 6, 2025. A sugar refinery supplies the jobs there, and a biker gang supplies almost everything else.
GTA6 LIFE

Ambrosia is one of the six destinations of the state of Leonida that Rockstar Games has named and described, on the “Only in Leonida” page put online on May 6, 2025, the day the second trailer landed. Its official heading is “Keeping Leonida Sweet”. Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Everything the studio has published about the region fits into four sentences.
The battle for the health and wealth of Leonida begins here. In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme, whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else.
Allied Crystal is the only employer any official sentence gives the region. In that text the biker gang is never named.
The 70 screenshots Rockstar released with trailer 2 on May 6, 2025 carry the rest of the local color. A pack of riders in winged-skull club vests works its way up a two-lane road past the sign for the Ambrosia county sheriff’s office. A “Visit Leonida” postcard puts the refinery at dusk, stacks smoking, next to a storage tank painted in the stars and stripes. Further out, crop fires run through the fields.

On August 28, 2026, Vice listed Ambrosia among the places seen outside Vice City in An Extended Look, shown the day before, alongside the Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Mount Kalaga and Grassrivers. No timestamped sequence has been tied to the region by name.

Lake Leonida comes from no official source
The large lake that fan maps place in the middle of the state, under the name Lake Leonida, appears in no Rockstar text. It comes from community mapping. Rockstar has never published a map of Leonida at all: not on May 6, 2025, not with the Extended Look of August 27, 2026, not since.
The same goes for the administrative carve-up. Rockstar never uses the word “county” in its official material, where the six places are presented as destinations. The five names in circulation, Vice-Dale, Leonard, Ambrosia, Kelly and Mariana, were read off road signs, police vehicles and sheriff badges, as GTA Intel set out on June 6, 2026. Ambrosia County is on a sign, not in a press release.
Four things about the region are still missing: its size, how many towns it holds, what the biker club is called, and where exactly it sits on a map Rockstar has never published. On the size of the whole state, the numbers going around come from one spoken remark to a content creator rather than a Rockstar release. They are taken apart in the map size check.
